"I had the opportunity to work with Brian between 2021 and 2022 on the soundtrack for my animated short "Le Rendez-Vous des Arts". I remember that we were on the same page from the beginning, and we had very clear ideas. When we reached the final stages of production, Brian's composition came in less time than I thought and exceeded all my expectations! Ten minutes of symphonic, joyful, sweet, epic, reflective, moving and powerful composition: Brian's music told a story that always touched the hearts of the audience."

"We've worked with Sucellos on several occasions, and every time the experience has been positive. He's understanding and willing to accept revisions. The delivery time is also great, although it may vary depending on the complexity of your request. He's versatile and always tries his best to ensure customer satisfaction. Definitely recommended."

“Sucellos has been an integral part of our label's lofi program since its beginning two years ago, and consistently submits first-class songs for consideration. The quality of work we have seen from this artist is exceptional, and anyone should be lucky enough to work with Sucellos as either a composer or music producer.”

About Me and Services

Who am I?

My name is Brian Piert, but I go by Sucellos because it’s a name many people on the internet are already familiar with. That being said I go by both, and if you see my names in any credits it will usually be as Brian ‘Sucellos’ Piert.

I’m a life long musician with a Bachelor’s in music performance from Drake University. I turned my attention to composing and production, and it has been my primary focus since 2017.

What services do you provide?

I provide most all services related to music production and audio. The exception being that I don’t have a studio to provide recording services beyond what I use for recording guitar/bass. Exact Service available can be found at my artist page on VGen.

What styles and genres do you work in?

I will work with, and write any style and genre of music requested. Styles and genres that I’m not already familiar with may take extra time since it requires some research before beginning work.

How long does it take to produce a finished track?

That really depends on the track and how much of the process I’m responsible for. If I’m just mixing/mastering it could be a couple days. I’ve had larger projects take up to a month. I currently have to balance audio work with a day job which can impact how long a project takes.

How much does it cost?

I currently charge a flat rate of $50/minute of audio to keep things simple. I’ve tried doing itemized price schedules, and they always get complicated beyond their usefulness.

How do you handle revisions?

For context music/audio production has various stages that make up the whole process. These stages include composition, arrangement, mixing, and mastering just to name a few. My goal is to always give opportunities at fixed intervals for clients to request changes and before moving on to the next phase.

A revision occurs when a change is requested that requires going back to a previous phase(ie from arrangement to composition).

I always allow for 2 revisions before additional charges are added.
