Who is Sucellos?

My name is Brian Piert. Sucellos started as an online alias while gaming, but when I started producing music online the name naturally went with it. I’ve made efforts to minimize confusion, and make sure people can find me under both names. Generally when listed in credits or posting my name I will go by Brian ‘Sucellos’ Piert.

What are your credentials?

I’ve been a musician my whole life, and have a Bachelor’s in music performance (classical guitar) from Drake University.

What instruments do you play?

I can play almost any instrument outside of the brass family. Obviously, my primary instrument is the guitar, specifically classical.

What do you do outside of music?

Currently I’m still on the “9 to 5” grind. When I’m not working I’m usually gaming or researching new things like music/audio production techniques or learning new software.
